The Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires training to identify victims of human trafficking.

Pharmacists are required to document having had such training.

I conducted several such trainings before hanging up my spatula a little while ago.

The three most common types of human trafficking are sex trafficking, forced labor, and debt bondage.

Forced labor is often initiated with the promise of help, but the victims soon find themselves to be in a strange location and without resources.

Now if the job happens to be as a prop for a political stunt, and the transport involves crossing state lines, here is the National Human Trafficking Hotline - 1 (888) 373-7888. 

 

A violation carries a term of imprisonment of up to 20 years and/or a fine, with the possibility of any number of years or life imprisonment in aggravating circumstances. 

 

Federal law proscribes holding or selling a person for involuntary servitude or bringing a person into the United States held in servitude. 18 U.S.C.

Benzodiazepine Use, State of Michigan: 2008 vs 2011

While we wait for the posting of the 2012 data this February, here is a rough estimate of benzodiazepine use in the State of Michigan, comparing 2008 with 2011.
I compiled information on the most popular three - alprazolam (Xanax), lorazepam (Ativan), and clonazepam (Klonopin)
The drugs represent total doses of all strengths in their respective category, regardless of dosage form.  Like I said, it's a rough estimate:
