Post 485 - Human Trafficking Applies to Texas and Florida Governors, too...National Human Trafficking Hotline - 1 (888) 373-7888

The Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires training to identify victims of human trafficking.
Pharmacists are required to document having had such training.
I conducted several such trainings before hanging up my spatula a little while ago.
The three most common types of human trafficking are sex trafficking, forced labor, and debt bondage.
Forced labor is often initiated with the promise of help, but the victims soon find themselves to be in a strange location and without resources.
Now if the job happens to be as a prop for a political stunt, and the transport involves crossing state lines, here is the National Human Trafficking Hotline - 1 (888) 373-7888.

A violation carries a term of imprisonment of up to 20 years and/or a fine, with the possibility of any number of years or life imprisonment in aggravating circumstances.

Federal law proscribes holding or selling a person for involuntary servitude or bringing a person into the United States held in servitude. 18 U.S.C.

In Michigan, under the recently updated administrative rules, it is the first item mentioned under "Pharmacist Licenses" --  https://ars.apps.lara.state.mi.us/AdminCode/DownloadAdminCodeFile?FileName=R%20338.471%20to%20R%20338.590.pdf&ReturnHTML=True

Post 484 - Another AI Test - This Time, "Stable Diffuser" in Night Cafe

I took this frame (#3713) from my 1999 Sfumato, "Flute Solo" -

                                        (c) 1999 Jim Middleton, The Animating Apothecary

- and ran it through "Stable Diffusion" a few times to see how its AI process performs - the interface is a bit more direct than the other programs (haven't tested to see how well it creates wood-block prints).  Shows some potential.

And a quick flip among the generated examples:

Then I tried it on a frame from my 2021 Sfumato, "Seule Tod."  Not a good look using Hokusai's filter (IMHO).

And another video test:

But onward HA!
