Here lies the residue of "The Animating Apothecary," a source of obscure ephemera and thought, created fresh(ish), but now reduced to howling into the wind, sketching in sand, and nibbling at the crustier extremes of an overbaked society. Trying to make Flash 5.5 provide layering effects, using Flash to erase bits with a mouse (!!). I even mixed a soundtrack for the "trailer." Oh to be a kid again! Here I discovered that Flash wasn't very good at rendering out its own AVI or MOV files - they were gigantic and pretty much unplayable - and today they don't enlarge well at all. Looks like a restart from scratch project... will have to track down some PD orchestrations as well. Such youthful ambition!!
