When I picked up my public domain print of "Minnie's Yoo Hoo" (1930) and first ran it through my projector, I thought something had gone horribly wrong. This was obviously not Walt Disney providing the voice. In fact, it could easily have been the furthest from any interpretation of the voice of Mickey Mouse.
Nonetheless, when converting my Super 8mm films to video many years back, I threw the print into the pile, just in case the day were to ever arrive when my projector bulb burned out and my 8mm prints would no longer be viewable without a trip to Ebay.
That day has come and gone, and with the further conversion from VHS to digital, I figured that I might as well play a bit with the soundtrack.
So, with the use of Audition (I'm pretty sure it's still a nice antique beta version) and Sony Vegas, I worked up this version.
